Applying Preferences
- Tie Bids: In the event of a tie bid, preference is given to local and domestic production or a vendor with a significant Idaho economic presence. I.C. 67-9210(2). Additional factors for breaking a tie can be found at IDAPA38.05.01.082
- Printing Preference: A 10% preference applies to Idaho vendors for solicitations for printing, engraving, binding, etc. I.C. 60-101 and I.C. 60-103
- Reciprocal Preference: Idaho applied a “reciprocal preference” for Idaho domiciled bidders:
